I made the mistake of setting up several recurring tasks to create a new task on close. This has turned ClickUp's search engine into a bit of a minefield, with certain keywords being completely useless as the associated tasks will be buried in a haystack of closed iterations of the same recurring task.
I've done my best to correct this by setting up recurring tasks to bump out the due date and change the task status as opposed to "cloning" the closed task. In order to resolve past transgressions, my suggestion is to "bundle" tasks that appear to have been generated due to recurrence under a single entry in search results, with the latest entry visible on top. The stack could be expanded/collapsed if the user wants to view past recurrences or ensure that a task hasn't be accidentally bundled.
If ClickUp doesn't already have a database-level way of tagging tasks that were generated in this manner, my thought would be to simply group tasks that have the exact same task name, and exist in the exact same list.
