The scrollbars on th chat and comments are very narrow and do not widen when moused over.

I find this primarily an issues when clicking on the link below a comment in the CHAT module to access an "unread" threaded - because the scrollbar is SOO narrow and unless you pause and make 100% sure the narrow scrollbar has highlighted before trying to scroll up or down ... missing the scrollbar CLOSES the comment thread - which also marks it as read.

Having the scrollbar widen when moused over and/or NOT closing the comment thread automatically when you accidentally click outside if the side thread panel - would help to eliminate the constant dance of having to reopen the comment thread and now look through all the READ comments to find where you left off.
