When using the timeline view you have to scroll left and right to find tasks that sit outside view.

In the Gantt view, there are indicator arrows (left and right of screen) to indicate there are tasks outside of the view, and when you click them it scrolls to that task.

These would be very useful to add to the Timeline View.
