Currently ClickUp offers the ability to minimise a task while writing a comment. When you return to the task the half-written comment is still in the text section and you can resume.

However, if you are partially through editing a comment and minimise the task, the half-written comment disappears when you return to the task. This should also remain so you can continue your editing.
