Round Robin Assignment / Assign Based on Workload
Olivia Justice
We are utilizing the TEAMS feature in ClickUp. We want to see if there's a way to assign a task to a team, but it round-robins the assignee from the designated team. For example, if we have a Customer Support team with 4 people on it - it could look a that team and auto-assign to the first person, and then the next task that comes through assigns to the next person on the team - and so on and so forth.
We were also wondering if there was a way to have a team assigned to a task, and for it to look at the team's workload to assign it to a designated team member.

This is exactly what I'm looking for to assign basic general cleaning duties at my small office.

This would be very helpful for our team. Any updates on this?

This would be incredibly helpful to have as a feature for those of us using ClickUp as a CRM type platform, especially if it functioned within the automations! Giving everyone on the sales team a fair chance to receive assigned customers and even the workload for the ones who are taking on a lot more.
Would love to see some progress on this soon :)

This is an important feature to have in click up, because in Agile methodology it makes more sense to assign task to a role instead of a person for example Data Engineer , or Data Science

This would be a great feature, any plans to work on this?

Also agree that this seems trivially necessary for any ITSM software

Assignable user rotation

It would be nice if ClickUp could manage a rotation of users who perform a recurring task.
Rotation = [Mary,Bob,Jill]
Create recurring task, assign user rotation
First instance is assigned to Mary
When first instance is complete, assign next instance to Bob
When Bob finishes his instance, assign next instance to Jill
Then start over on the next instance.
Should have a simple way to skip to the next user if someone can't take that instance for some reason, and/or be smart about handling a manual user reassignment.
