If a task has subtasks and there's a field that show numbers (especially with formulas), the task should show the total of it's subtasks, not have the same formula has everything else. It's really anoying when I'm doing my budget and a task with substasks can only show an amount of 0$, otherwise it would alter the calculation of the whole status.
Also, the calculation itself doesn't include the amount of the subtask when they are minimized, it really forces us to not have subtasks, which is anoying.

Would love to have and use this feature. It should be optional, as some fellow commenters pointed out below.
Adding a use case:
We use custom fields to fully track our projects' profitability:
- Time contracted (Number): the number of person-hours we sell for delivering a task (as per the PO)
- Hourly rate (Currency): the service fee we charge /hour on that task (depending on seniority etc.)
- Total contracted fee (Formula): calculated from the time contracted and the hourly rate fields.
This way we can report and compare the contracted numbers against the actual timesheet data.
In this scenario, we definitely want to be able to rollup Time contracted and Total contracted fee values, but it wouldn't make any sense to rollup the Hourly rate.

Just like you rollup time tracked from subtasks to parent task, it would make sense to be able to do the same thing with number or currency fields. There is a calculate button at the bottom of the columns, but that will calculate all of the tasks in that grouping, when it's important to be able to do this for subtasks to parent task.

Bugra Oktay Please make this optional. I definitely do NOT want custom fields automatically being applied to parent tasks from subtasks. It should be asked as a question when you edit a subtask, or set as a user setting.
