Moreover, if you start sprint "yesterday", it is automatically set to "Done" (which seems to be a bug), and you have no opportunity to revert it back to "In progress".

Two years later, this issue has taken on new importance: Clickup has now introduced a feature that automatically sets sprints to Done at the end of the sprint date, which is on by default, and as far as I can tell, can't be turned off.

This absolutely needs to be addressed. It is a fundamental element of sprint management and is a feature offered by many other competitor platforms.
Additionally, there isn't a way to prevent users from being able to do this in the out of the box permission schemes either.
So, this should be prioritized.

yeah!! i changed without want it, and now i can't come back

Our sprint is f*cked, you can't change the status but also you can't change dates in case you wanted to replace your broken sprint with a new instance. I rather leave it broken for the 2 next weeks now instead of losing time recreating a new Sprints folder (and move everything there)..

It is outrageous this is not fixed.. serious hindrance for a mistake to mess up. Clickup should issue credits as this is something very fundamental to use this for development project management.

Yes please!!! One misclick turning the sprint to Done, it stays done even though the sprint hasnt started or is still in progress.

A misclick and Sprint goes in DONE State which is irreversible
Can't understnad why the option to move sprint to done is even available, if the sprint haven't been put in progress before, doesn't make sense at all.
Maybe instead of implementing crazy reverse mechanism, just hide the "move to done" state for sprints that are not in progresss

Is it really so, that it is still not possible to revert to in progress when a sprint accidentally is marked as done?
