Resolve Chats

Chats are a great way to discuss on-topic items within lists and Folders. I think it would give some great extra functionality if you could resolve them, so they could potentially clear out from a list of chats, or simply move to the bottom of the list with "strikethrough" treatment or something similar showing they are resolved.
It would be great to have a "concluding" comment as well, showing what the resolution was, so this could be referenced in the future. This is particularly relevant since you guys allow for searching of comments as full-on entities inside ClickUP.
This would also work well in tandem with being able to comment on resolutions of assigned comments that I talked about here:
We use an app Twist, a Slack alternative, that offers this, and it's very useful:
Thanks guys!

As part of our efforts to improve our feedback boards, we're closing this older feature request.
Removing old and inactive posts will increase the communication between the ClickUp team and our users, allowing us to hear more of your great ideas!
If you feel this request is worth revisiting, feel free to create a new post!
Thanks for being a part of our community!

Hey R C! These are great ideas. As a workaround to resolving chat messages, we found users using the check emoji.
Also, many users would edit the message, add action items, then "assign" the message to a person. Would this be useful to you?

Waleed Elaghil: Hi Waleed, weighing in here. I also support this. However, what the request showing with Twist is you can mark clearly a chat as "complete", with a resolution about what happened. These options you are showing are not really the same, as seeing if somebody read a message or not - while useful, does not help with finalizing what is the solution. I'd like to be able to use Chats to ask questions in my team and otherwise discuss things I might be forced to use Email for now.
Hope you guys will consider this as it would really help the evolution of Chats!

Hey John Jones! I completely agree with you. We're studying new Chat features and this would definitely be on our radar
