Remove self actions from Slack notifications
Timothy Bassett
The Slack integration updates me when I have placed my own comments.
I assumed that Slack notifications would work the same as other notifications within Clickup (in-app and email notifications) where it notifies me if there is a new notification.
Having a slack channel to tell me that I have posted a comment couldn't be more than useless.

Would love to see this implemented. I do not need slack notifications to tell me what I myself just did. The notifications should only fire when it's triggered by someone else than me.

I wanted to re-up this point as for me as a user, this behaviour negatively impacts the usefulness of the feature for me and decreases the usefulness of notifications as a whole
Since I get a slew of 20-30 notifications in Slack whenever I do a batch of work in my Clickup account, I subconsciously pay less attention to notifications from Clickup as a whole. If I knew that I would only get a notification when it was an action performed by another user, I would pay more attention to the notifications and the feature would be more effective

Huge yes! So essential!
Users on our team miss ClickUp in-app notifications all the time, so you can't trust they get know when you tag them in a comment or assign them a task.
Slack notifications solve this but creates a huge amount of noise if you can't filter out your own actions; enough noise that people turn them off.
