Relationships: Allow List to List relationships to be maintained when a task is duplicated or moved.
Alex Howard
Currently, if you have a relationship created by using the option 'task from a specific List', this relationship will disappear if you move the task to another List or duplicate the task.
Allow these List to List relationships to be maintained when the task is moved or duplicated.

This feature is essential!
We import all our projects via the API into a landing space, where our software automatically assigns the correct project type and establishes the necessary relationships. However, when a project manager delegates the project and moves it to the appropriate project space, those relationships are lost.

💯 I work in ther the healthcare industry. I have clients list and providers list. However whenever I change the status of either of them from either onboarding to active or from active to inactive, it loses everything. Really annoying!

Yossi Abramczyk: Hey there! Do you use different lists for different 'statuses' (e.g., active vs. inactive are different lists), and moving the tasks from list to list results in the loss of the relationships? Want to make sure that changing the task statuses isn't resulting in this data loss, which would not be expected. Thanks!

Caroline Ginty correct. I have it set up that when it changes statuses there's an automation to change the list.

Task Relationships: When duplicating a task, please keep the custom relationships based on location.

Currently when you duplicate with custom relationships based on locations it will lose those relationships.

It shouldn't lose the relationship when duplicate the task and change its status

This is a serious problem for us, as we relate our operations to the tasks that generate reports for our clients and each month we lose the relationship from the previous month. It would be great if this problem were solved and our automations did not leave manual and not fast work to adjust relationships that already existed before duplication.

Option to keep relationships when copying / duplicating tasks

The new Relationships feature is awesome. But when I copy / duplicate a task, I want to be able to have the option to retain the existing relationships so I can quickly duplicate and change the title for items that are similar.

Oh jezz, I jsut smashed into this again! What a pain not having this feature in any way of implementation.

This is extremely important. Accidental moves happen all the time, or purposeful, and it eliminates all the important connections. We've started to use relationships/linking much more and this is one of the biggest detractors.
Hetal
very important feature! I wonder if this is being worked on?
