Redesign the task view

It would be nice if we can customize the task view or if you can redesign the task view. Including the ability to see the task in both full and split screen.

Not only are the icons above the task title rather small. Meanwhile, the task property section below the task title takes up a huge amount of space and makes the user scroll to be able to see the custom fields. Also those property fields change position once they contain information. That way tags, time tracker and date section can be positioned either below or above the task title which makes their use very iconvenient.
I would prefer one single "info section" which is consolidated in a small space directly above or below the task title. Alternatively, customization options for task icons/info sections would be appreciated.

The fact that priory / tags / etc bounce around depending if they're filled or not is extremely frustrating, and makes it very easy to miss information. I don't much care where it's put, just keep it all in the same place!

you removed the "change task order in list view". it is impossible for us to work without it. please restore

Mijal: We used that a ton as well! Love the new features, but you need parity!

I would love to have complete customization: https://clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/customize-task-view-completely

Finding subtasks are getting forgotten because the grey subtask count next to the subtask tab does not pull your eye at all.
It should not only be coloured if you are assigned to a subtask. It's not always practical to assign yourself to all subtasks, for various reasons, but you still want to know those subtasks exist and not forget them.
The grey text is not eye-catching at all. It should be coloured no matter if you are assigned to any subtasks or not, so that it grabs your eye.
Also, the subtask sidebar should be open by default, and the Subtask tab should be the open on first view, not the Details tab.

This is also not helped by the removal of the really useful 2.0 way of showing you the number of subtasks you had in each status, with the number count inside a coloured box representative of the status.
That was so useful for:
- Drawing your attention.
- Telling you exactly how many subtasks you had in each status.
- Being accurate (the current number count is not accurate, as it includes Done items, Task Types that should not count, etc etc).

Can the comments section auto-refresh or at least display an information that there are new comments and offer action to refresh the data? When I have the task open there is no way to get new comments from other people unless you close and reopen the task... or make some filtering activity on comments which is pretty annoying.

full screen/expand of the subtask section - can still see the parent tasks name, can wrap text, completed tasks and archived tasks auto hide, can move the property fields to the absolute far left, can use click+shift to select multiple tasks, can set default list of properties to be equal to the List's set of properties, maintain the buttons/icons from normal task view like start/track time, time estimate, due date, etc as buttons along the top

it's superannoying how the sidebar task view covers half the list you're in. are we going to get it to condense the list so we can access all that right-side info? 🫣

With the new 3.0 task view, I would like the tags section to be collapsible so it doesn't push down the custom fields and subtasks section.

I would prefer the task view's subtask's count be for non-complete tasks if "show completed" button is inactive.
