Recurring tasks, why are the subtasks and checklists already checked for future dates

It's weird that subtasks and checklists are not renewed for recurring tasks for future dates.

Yeah, this one frustrates a lot of users. When a recurring task creates a new instance, subtasks and checklist items should start fresh — not carry over their completed state from the previous cycle. Bug-feeling behavior that needs to be fixed.
