Recording Voice Notes and Auto AI Transcription

I really want voice recordings with auto AI transcriptions at the forefront of features – as important as the 'create task' buttons. Voice recordings are currently possible, but they're buried within the comments section and featureless.
Have you tried using Otter.ai or FireFlies.ai? It's totally awesome. I record a stream of creative and inspired ideas and watch it transcribe in real time. After I stop recording, it automatically assigns speakers, summary notes, subject tags, etc. The AI summary notes are so brilliant that I wish I could just export them all as separate task to start acting on, or as timestamped edit notes for a video edit. An ideal workflow and service for podcast production – taking long form recordings and slicing out just the best bits from AI transcription points of interest.
If ClickUp won't develop their own fully featured service due to roadmap priorities, I'd settle for a decent integration with an existing service for the time being. A voice command superuser like Siri would be cool down the line, but for the interim, integrating something like 'Otter.ai' or FireFlies.ai' would be highly valued! Or buy one of them out? I wouldn't mind paying for a subscription if it was really well integrated.

Zach - ClickUp While this is very neat, I'd really love it if we could skip the voice recording part and just have text to speech. Also... why can't we use this anywhere but the comments... wouldn't this be very useful inside Docs or the description of the task or anywhere you type text. And to that extent, why can't we just get a mic button next to clips button at top toolbar

For what it's worth, we have built an own automation that automatically deals with all files (audio and video) as well as all meetings that are recorded and:
- Transcribes them (with language autodetected)
- Based on where it is, creates a context aware summary (e.g. based on meeting type or if it's in our SOP list it creates a full SOP from the audio)
- Posts the summary to the respective task
- (For meeting recordings:) Stores the transcript in a custom field such that...
- (For meeting recordings:) People can ask the bot questions about the transcript in the comments section
All this can be done via the API.
I can confirm that this actually helps us practically and is more than just a fancy unpractical thing (whereas only one type of summary would be far less useful than having the context aware and business specific prompts that we have - in contract this produces context relevant ACTIONABLE results).

Schneur Eichorn: I use a mix of clickup automations, make.com, n8n, zapier, openai and deepgram as well as a bunch of other tools for our other processes to automate everything.

Ditto! I often hate taking notes during meetings, and when I do, I lose track of the conversation. Being able to be fully present during the meeting, and then record an audio summary of the meeting and associated tasks directly into ClickUp, and then have a transcription of it be catalogued and subsequently rewritten and pasted in a Doc would be AWESOME.

https://audiopen.ai/ is an interesting tool that you can transcribe voice notes via AI into different personas. Voice notes are awesome, but having them transcribe your "thoughts' into coherent summaries and versions is amazing.
Would be awesome to work that into clickup to create or populate tasks/remidner and populate voice notes in comments, etc
