Progress Bar (Auto) updates from Custom Fields
Christopher Rosa
Add the ability for specific custom fields to reflect changes in the Auto-Progress bar.
For example: When an item has a specific label attached to it, the progress moves forward automatically after being marked.

Progress bar (Automatic)

I would like to see the progress bar observe specified field completion (incl. custom fields) in the task. We have several data capture points that contribute towards project completion and these should reflect in the overall progress update.
Currently we are having to use a complex automation-driven solution.

In our org., we just want to track field completion.
To get round this, we are currently having to create a large volume of automations to track the completion of the field, a hidden tracker field corresponding to each field being tracked and further automations to update % completion based on the updates to the tracker fields. This has a significant impact on our automation usage, and is a maintenance overhead.
It would be a major improvement for us to be able to have this covered in the OOB functionality and visually would be better too.

I really need this as I've moved my personal daily management to Clickup. This includes a daily subtask with easy and quick to click custom field items rather than drilling down into the subtask card or subtask tasks. I thought it would be easy to just tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick from left to right and see the progress bar populate. Please could you ad this option to the current list of subtasks, checklists and assigned comments. Keeping my fingers crossed. TIA!

This would be really convenient if multiple tasks have exactly the same subtasks. A label or checklist could be added instead of tediously adding subtasks to every single one.
There is the manual progress bar but when dealing with hundreds of smaller tasks in a week, that could be nightmare.

this would be very cool
