Priority Level field | Option to allow customized names

It is confusing to have a priority level that is time based. Could it be renamed 'Very Important' or something similar. Especially when trying to use an Eisenhower matrix approach (Urgent + Important) The due dates takes care of the time based element (showing what is urgent).

I'd also love to chime in, being able to set customized priority tags per list/folder/space. That way, specific spaces have priorities matched across the board but the function of priority can still work across the workspace with sorting, filtering, flags, etc.

We use priority as our "scheduling" since due dates are always blown and create stress.
Urgent -> Today
High -> This Week
Normal -> Next Week
Low -> On Deck
Then we can cycle through each of those at the beginning of the week as they increase in urgency.
It's just semantics, but it would be nice to be able to label them appropriately.

pixojoy: it worked great for a smaller to-do list. As we've grown, we've started doing it for each project.
Now I wish I could label them: First, Second, Third, Fourth.

It would be very helpful if one had the ability to be able to EDIT and/or ADD to the current Priority Levels and Coloured Flags.
Currently the selection of 3 levels is generally not broad enough to allow one to further sort through and prioritise a large number of tasks (I only do this on the desktop App).
I use the flags to sort though my tasks (initially) until I can allocate time (and a date) to the task. I use this to sort tasks on a custom view.
I have a list (brain dump) where I jot down tasks and ideas on the fly, and often I will also put a rough priority level on it so I can sort through it later. Have more flexibility on the levels available would be great.
So, for (one) example, it would be great if there could be a "Semi-Urgent" priority level and it could be colour Yellow. etc. It would be better if the individual could edit and add these as needed.
Because this feature already exists I thought it wouldn't be a overly complex feature to implement.

Hey Brad Hawkins! Thanks for writing this up! I want to make sure your vote is heard so I think it would be great for us to add this to some existing feature requests.
I'll go ahead and merge this one into the request to customize Priority Level names. I suggest adding your vote and a comment if you would like to both requests to change the Priority Level flag and to add additional options!

Another request is to have opportunity to customize flags with custom names.... I use Jira for macro tacks and clickup for daily real time microtask ... but I need to have the same name everywhere.... I can't figured out same flags.... "priority" flags are essentials in micro management

I'd love to be able to qualify urgency in the calendar without choosing a date. the task could follow the present date until it gets done or something similar.
If there is a workaround way to do this, i'd like to know.
