Printing works really bad in clickup and need improvements

No matter what I try there just isn't any good way to print stuff in click up. I've seen a few posts that are years old yet there has been nothing done for this. I need to be able to print task lists for my work so I have something to bring to the actors when we have a animation recording session but if I print the list view it just cuts of half of the tasks with white space.
If I use the table view sub-tasks gets arranged randomly and are not part of the actual task so we cannot work from the list top/down in table view if it doesn't match the list view when it comes to task placement. The table view also doesn't have any text wrapping so it cuts off any large text since the size of custom fields are limited and force itself to a smaller size if you try to make it big.
Also if you have tasks in multiple statuses it collapses all but the main one when you press ctrl+p in table view hiding all tasks that are in any other status.
The only way I am able to get printable lists right now is to:
- Convert all sub-tasks to real tasks. This fixes the arrangement of tasks because it doesn't put sub-tasks all over the place (though this way makes the link to a main task go away unless you manually start linking tasks which is extra work)
- In table view select everything, copy with header.
- Paste in google sheet.
This shouldn't have to be like this and I might have to look for other tools if this isn't improved this upcoming year since it's way to crucial for me to be able to print lists easily without having to do a bunch of extra steps. I know there is the export feature but as a unlimited user (I don't want to pay for stuff I don't need) the export five times in total is useless for me, this should really be an unlimited feature until printing is possible in a nice way.

When printing from a PDF preview nothing prints at all. It prints the whole box (clickup window and all) with a blank page inside where the print preview normally is. So you have to go back in, download the file, and print in another software.

Printing simply doesn't work... pretty embarrassing for clickup...

At minimum, I would hope I could print exactly how it is in Click Up. For example when printing docs. My boss ONLY works with paper so I have to print anything I put in front of him. But the title doesn't get printed at all or cuts off and I would love I would love it to include the "last updated" bar. I usually end up handwriting these details on the top of the page.
I also tried to export a list/folder but it only exports the entire workspace. Now I need to waste time filtering and finding just the items related to the folder (project) I need. This is important because I'm in the AV industry where we track not only tasks but parts and shipping.

Being able to print to pdf for Whiteboards is a must, I just spent hours creating an organizational chart and realized that I am unable to print it or export to share with an external company.

Please make it usable to print in PDF files

Agree with many... this seems like a basic necessity for a company that wants to target and work with businesses.

It would seem that the target audience that wants to print things is just not a market they're interested in.
There are feature requests with no comments from ClickUp (that I can see) that are over 5 years old.
This is obviously a major feature gap, but one that seems deliberate (i.e. determined to be not a priority). And rather than being candid about it they're hoping perhaps(?) that silence will cost them less users than being up front. I can only infer their intent.
But based on experience working for, and as a customer of SaaS companies like this, if they were going to do anything about it, they would've said
something
by now. The PM or PO would've chimed in, even if it was a "it's on the roadmap but we're not sure for when", etc.Ashton Dowling
I've transitioned back to Asana from ClickUp, despite ClickUp offering numerous features and advantages over Asana. It's regrettable because I value ClickUp's capabilities. However, for my business's auditing and reference needs, I require a task copy to be saved in the cloud. I believe many professional businesses, including those in finance, accounting, and insurance, share this requirement. The printing function in ClickUp is currently terrible with missing information and urgently needs improvement. Despite reaching out multiple times to Clickup, I've been informed that they are addressing the issue. However, it's been eight months, and there's been no resolution. ClickUp, by neglecting this significant flaw, is potentially losing a substantial amount of business. If Asana can provide this functionality, why can't ClickUp?

I use clickup to manage contruction sites, and I need to print worklists for the construction workers. Now I excport til Excel, edit the list significantly and print. I spend at least an hour a week doing this. I have tried to print from the browser (Chrome), but that ends up really bad and useless - blank sheets, only prints parts of the list. I would save an hour a week if there were a prober print feature. PLS include print feature asap or make the browser print feature work.
