I have a whiteboard view on a list template. On the whiteboard it has tasks from the template list. When I create a new list based on this template, the tasks in the whiteboard view are still pointing towards the original template list and not the new instance of the tasks in the new list.

Is there a way to have the tasks on the whiteboard be the tasks newly created by the template rather than pointing towards the tasks on the original list which the template is based on?

If not it would be nice if there was a feature to place placeholder tasks in the whiteboard that correspond to a specific task in your task outline so that when you apply the template the task placeholder gets populated with the newly created task.
