ClickUp is already strong at managing work through tasks, priorities, due dates, time estimates, AI, and automations. What would make it dramatically more powerful is a truly native calendar execution layer.
I’d love to see ClickUp improve:
visual calendar time blocking for tasks
easy drag-and-drop scheduling from task to calendar
smart scheduling suggestions based on priority, due date, and time estimate
auto-rescheduling when plans change, meetings are added, or work is missed
This would solve a major gap for users who currently rely on tools like Motion, Reclaim, or Akiflow just to turn ClickUp tasks into a realistic day plan.
If ClickUp handled this natively, it would become a much stronger all-in-one system for both planning work and executing it on the calendar.
