WOuld love to have this feature turned off. Many times I am using my mobile to add tasks and even though I change the location every time to go to a different folder, when I'm on the road saving tasks, adding a task automatically selects tasks to be added to the personal list instead of the last one I selected. I cannot see the personal list on my mobile phone and I have missed many tasks/can't find them because they get lost in this list.

I couldn't agree anymore. This feature automatically being on hinders easy workflow.

Please please give us a way to turn this off. I keep "losing" tasks in personal because its the default

Yes please, please, make an option to turn it off please, it is annoying :( I accidentally put my tasks into a personal list and then I couldn't see them in everything view.

Oh yes me too. I end up doing this by accident because the default place to create a task in the app is in this bizarre hidden personal list. I already have a different personal list.

It is unbelievable you can't turn off such a feature!! I found out I was late for several tasks at work and it turned out they were in this "Personal list" only visible at "Home" which I don't frequently use since I already have my customized views... please!!! let's change this

Please add this feature ASAP. It is even more problematic because the personal list is not a regular list, so you lose sight of anything accidentally created there ! The ability to change the default template so that it does not use the personal list should be an urgent workaround.

If we can't turn it off, could we at least get the ability to re-define the default location for a new task, or failing that, I think the mobile app retains the last location a task was made... I would prefer either of those to the personal list being the default.

Strongly Agree. The personal list is causing multiple issues in our Workspace and should be able to be turned off.

For example, people are creating tasks that others cannot see, whereas, admins and project managers should be able to see all tasks within our Workspace. I should note, if a "personal list" is needed we can simply use a normal list and restricting access to the individual + project managers + admins.

Additionally, all tasks in our workspace have time estimates so we can manage capacity. If tasks are created in a personal list, project managers who don't have visibility on them are unable to manage users capacity.

We very much embarrassed the collaborative nature of ClickUp, and the ability of admins to have full access to everything. Now we have these 'sectioned off' areas that admins can't access.

And these are just the issues we are aware of...

please give an option to either turn off personal list, or be able to provide basic function like other lists with automation and so on...

I keep adding tasks to my personal list by mistake and then I forget them there since I'm not using the personal list.
