This is related to https://clickup.canny.io/task3/p/parent-task-visibility and https://clickup.canny.io/task3/p/options-for-subtask-sidebar (so feel free to merge, as long as it won't get lost).
I feel like it's better UI practice to have the subtask sidebar view always available to be accessed, even if the task doesn't have any subtasks. This creates a more consistent UI experience, so users don't have to adjust where they think things are based on the data inside the task.
I have also noticed that if I open a task with subtasks (or a subtask itself), the button to open the subtask sidebar shows up, and if I click it, it opens. However, upon opening another subtask (or close/reopen the same one), ClickUp doesn't remember that I had that side bar open. I'd love for it to remember my preferences.
