Pause video recording and resume

It would be nice (mandatory, kind of) if we could pause video recordings and resume them. Also be able to choose what part of our screen to record, and have it be on a 3 second delay before recording, and have the option to highlight the cursor. Bonus: have the option to record via our webcam so our faces appear small in the bottom of the recordings. Also of course to be able to record vids in the app instead of just on the internet browser. The video recordings are an extremely valuable feature though, love it.
Edit: when you're recording and you click a dropdown menu, the menu does not appear in the recording.

How come more people are not requesting this feature? I am paying for https://www.claap.io/ only for this feature! I love how we can add and assign comments at any point in a video but as others here have mentioned, we need to be able to pause recording when we're gathering our thoughts, referencing other material, or just plain stuck while demonstrating something in the video. It will help make crispier videos.

It would be soooo helpful to be able to pause during recording!
For example, if I'm giving feedback on a webpage, right now I have to really think about everything I want to say, write out bullets so I don't forget any of my feedback, and then start the recording.
It'd be so much easier to be able to start the recording, give feedback, pause the recording while I figure out my next bit of feedback, then start the recording again. This would easily cut my feedback time in half!

Yes, I would be very useful to pause the recording. makes it easier to create smooth instruction clips.

Hey Chaki! Thanks for the feedback! You should already be able to pause and go back in a video with Clip. I do want to note that this feature currently works best with Chrome and Firefox, so if you are using a different browser we'd recommend switching to one of those to take advantage of all the features.
Totally agree about showing camera and using in the desktop app!

Eric Wightman: I mean when I'm recording a vid, there doesn't seem to be an option to pause the recording. I can only start it then stop it, and stopping it creates the vid and there's no way to add onto the recording.
