I just cant believe this minor function raised in 2019 has still not been accepted and developed. It is not a surprise why people said Notion is becoming powerful...I am now thinking if I need to go for other tools for my company.

You can paste photos or screenshots right into your comments or text fields in ClickUp already!

Brendan W: It's still not available in the "Files" custom column field.

Brendan W: Thanks Brendan, for my part I was hoping that images could be pasted into your bug report form! It's more steps to save a screenshot and then upload the file. Thanks!

Yes please, it's going to be awesome. It's a thing that I miss from Trello. If you can do this you're going to save us a lot of time.

That would be really useful in the docs as well.

- This would be even better if it worked like trello where you just open the card, can paste it in without clicking description or anything and it appears in attachments.
- Also being able to paste an image you right click, "copy image" from the net.
- Finally being able to make the image you pasted in a cover like in trello. Right now we can only make attachment images a cover (#1 being done would solve #3 for me)

Zeb: It would be awesome to have this functionality in the Inbox as well. I often take screenshots/make gifs of bugs in the inbox and organize these later. It would be great to be able to just paste those in instead of having to save and upload them.
Zeb
Goran Gligorin: Agreed, we'll get it done asap! Definitely by the end of next month :)

Zeb: So, one year later?
Zeb
Khiman Louër: Thanks for the reminder. Just moved the task into a near sprint!

Yes, this feature is very crucial to the way I operate where every task is basically a review of a screenshot I take in another program (not Chrome). Actually saving the screenshot and then having to upload it is a very tedious process instead of just pasting it into the task.
Zeb
michael: Hey Michael! You can paste it into the task, just click on the comments area or the description and you'll be able to paste it, does that work for your use case?
michael
Zeb: Sorry, should've phrased that better. Pasting it in the description works, but I need it added as an attachment by the same method if that is possible.
Zeb
michael: Got it, we'll get that done!
michael
Zeb: What is this amazing customer service!?!?
michael
Zeb: Is this still planned or? :D
