Password Docs

If we're not able to password any fields or spaces, etc... then can we get passwords enabled for docs. There are things I'd like to share with clients that can simply be in a doc but should still remain private.

I'm surprised it is not avilable.
We need it!

Yes we need password access options for public docs. We want to share docs publicly with our clients however we only want the client to be able to access the doc. Password access would allow this without the need to add clients to docs and our clickup account.

We really highly recommend Clickup to allow for password setup for public links. We are currently reviewing other software options due to Clickup forcing guests to sign up in order to view private links. And ofcourse we don't want all of our info to be 100% public.

Yes! This! We want to put passwords here and want to secure that more. It should be easy to add!

I definitely agree. But for different reasons. Sometimes it's easier to create a password for a doc and just share that with team members instead of setting the permissions.
Further, on some docs, it may be so secure that we only want certain people who have those permissions to see the page, and THEN they still must input a password. Double security.
