This previous request is closed so I decided to reopen one.
[Show only milestones in ganttt]
On top of filtering, for example just the milestone, the request is ability to hide all the folders and lists, but just showing all filtered tasks.
In my case, I am looking for gantt chart view that show only the event date so that I can overview across all spaces without having all the folders and lists which contain no events in them.

I can't believe this hasn't been sorted. It makes the gantt chart unusable.

We're architects and each of our projects is a Folder. We do not track work with the progress bars, so I'd like those gone in the Gantt view that shows all our projects. BUT, just having a sea milestone markers and bars showing phases (Design, Permitting, etc.) would be chaotic without some separation.
So I'd like to see a simple horizontal line across the entire Gantt dividing the folders being shown.
Also, with multiple projects (Folders) showing, our vertical screen real estate gets used up VERY quickly, preventing us from seeing all the projects at once. Which is of course the purpose of this view - to compare project timelines.
To fix that I'd like to have vertical scale control to make the Gantt more compact. In fact, if vertical scale control is easier to implement, that would get me half the way to what I need - a Gantt chart that shows all projects on one screen.

I completely agree with other comments, I really don't understand how the rest of the world is using this gantt view. If I filter by me, empty folder and list remain displayed. Moreover my subtask are not shown.
This makes gantt view unusable for personal/group planning and rescheduling.

Please have the option to remove the progress bar! I want to create a simple view from all of my projects (lists in a folder) and showcase the dates that the events are.

I agree.
I have separate folders for each task, and all tasks are done in parallel, so the current situation makes it difficult to use.
I'm glad there are others who think the same way.

Adding my complaint to this chorus. In most of the other types of views I can chose how I want the tasks organized. The obligatory progress bar in the GANNT view is extremely limiting, cluttering, and assumes that companies are using Lists & Folder top house single, time-bound projects. In my case, we use lists & folders to organize our tasks by team function & work area, but the those designations are not useful in a high level GANNT view. I have no easy way to show my team the order & relative timing of all of our planned projects in a visual & chronological cascade. It's a ridiculous limitation given all of Click=up's other functionality.

Felicia Martinez I agree 100% !

When needing a high-level Gantt view from the Space level, we'd like to be able to only see what we need - often times there are lists in the Space or folder level that clutter up the high-level view, would be nice to be able to toggle on/off individual lists or folders in Gant view.

I agree with all the comments below - Lists without tasks should have the option to be hidden like in Timeliner view. It's cluttering our view and confusing my staff.

I also have the need to hide folders and lists bars that appear in the gantt chart, they are meaningless and cluttersome to me. With them around I can't focus on the tasks I'm trying to display and manage on the chart.
