So I just found out that you can't use the "Every..." date trigger to create a new task on a scheduled date, because the "create a task" action isn't compatible with this as a trigger, although there is no indication of such.

It doesn't make any sense to me why an incompatible action would be available to select when building automations - either compatible actions should only be available for selection with a compatible trigger, or there should be a warning.
