Nickname Support

Please allow for nickname support. We run an eSports Organization and know people mostly by their online alias and this would make project tracking much easier!

Using nicknames/username alongside with real names would be great. We used to mention people by short usernames that is much easier and faster!

I second that. We are used to using nicknames people gave themselves on our communication platform (where we can @mention them), but in ClickUp every time I want to ping someone I have to stop and think what was their birthname. Still, even if I do remember, my fingers take a while to catch up :P
It feels like being back in primary school and phoning a friend at his place over intercom only to have their parents answer. The stuff that went in my head "darn, what was <slightly-embarassing-nickname-holder>'s name again?

Nicknames for Users

It would be nice to have a nickname feature when working with team members. For instance, I manage someone named Robert. I call him Bob. Others call him Robert or by his surname. When I am assigning Bob to a task, I think Bob, but must put in the more formal Robert that he uses for his profile.
If it were possible to "nickname" a user in a way that was your habit to refer to him, it would make things go far easier.
Additionally, what if I worked with two Roberts. One likes to be called Bob and the other prefers Robert. Again the value of a nickname, like we use in our email contacts all the time already, would be a welcome improvement to Clickup.

Not only for esports, this is universally useful! I have a long "official" name and usually by a shorter nick. While I use my full name in my account I want to shole in comments and tasks by short nickname plz.
