New Level of Protected Views - No Access to Filters, Group By, etc
Jéssica Veiga
Have an additional level of protection for views. Currently there's "Protected View" which doesn't allow users to persist changes in the view. Here we request an additional level of protection that doesn't allow a specific set of users to even access the set of options that might change the view (including filter, group by, etc).

This is so sorely needed - I don't suppose it'd be too difficult to implement? It'd be great if this was prioritized. It would solve so many things for us, and I'm sure for many others, in terms of access control.

This is URGENTLY needed - View only should mean View only, no changes or ability for them to see things they shouldn't. Only exactly as we want them to see it - bumping this!

This would be vital for Forms, since for a Form view I have to share the whole list - but different people submitting to the Form shouldn't have access to all tasks on the List.

Sometimes, even as the Admin who set the Protected View, I want to temporarily adjust a Filter (add/remove) based on the current View. In 2.0, I could make these minor changes without having to Unprotect the View or fully rebuild the View. However, in 3.0, this doesn't appear to be the case. I cannot add/remove anything related to a Filtered view to temporarily "see/hide" information.

+1 totally agree on this

I agree I would love this feature!

Absolutely, including the ability to stop me mode being turned on or off.

Admins, is it worth merging this: https://clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/mandatory-me-mode into this request?

I would also add that users cannot move columns when it is in protected view.
