BACKGROUND
The unscheduled tasks backlog appears in three planning surfaces: the Calendar view sidebar, the Timeline right bar, and the Workload sidebar. It is effectively the same panel, but today it behaves as a dumb flat list in all three.
PAIN
Planners with real backlogs cannot work out of it. There are no fields on the rows, no independent filtering, no sort, no grouping, and nothing is remembered between sessions. "It is overwhelming and unproductive to see every single unsorted task I have ever made in that list."
WORKAROUND
People leave the planner, go to a List view to find the task they want, then come back and scroll for it. Or they change the view filters, which also changes what they see on the calendar/grid itself.
REQUEST
- Show fields on backlog rows, including Time Estimate.
- Sort by any field.
- Filter the backlog independently of the view's own filters.
- Richer filters, including hiding closed tasks in the backlog while keeping them on the grid.
- Save filter + sort combos as presets.
- Group with collapsible headers.
- Location picker up to Space level, not just List.
- Nest subtasks under their parent.
- Indicate tasks that are already scheduled.
This is one panel used in three places, so it should behave the same in all three.

I am using the very wonderful tool of calendar by custom date field. I love the calendar view for this. Now I wish the "unscheduled" tasks list would be any task that is not on this calendar already, rather than unscheduled in the original due date field.

In the time view, the panel on the right hand side shows the unscheduled tasks. these are set to show the parent tasks, unless the sub-tasks option is selected.
I notice that when the sub-task option is selected, then the sub-tasks and parent tasks are displayed together but in no apparent logical order. e.g. sub-task of parent task (A), will be shown under parent task (B). Even if i attempt to sort by name, then the list doesn't get sorted correctly by name.
is it possible for the sub-tasks to be shown beneath its parent task?
I understand that there will be occasions when a sub-task will be 'floating', as its parent task will not be shown in the list. That's fine - such a sub-task could just be shown along with all the other floating subtasks together.

I would love to be able to group my unscheduled tasks by list in calendar view. Currently, a lot of unnecessary screen space is occupied by the repeating name of list breadcrumb above every single task. It would make much more sense if the unscheduled tasks were grouped by their list name, and that grouping was shown in a collapsible list so I can simply collapse those that I am not interested in seeing, in order to save the valuable screen space.

I'm using the "unscheduled tasks" view in the clandar to lay out my week.
Things that would would help:
- Better segmentation offering labels / subheadlines within the list so it's easier to scan items
-Ability to filter "unscheduled tasks" indepently from calendar view. Right now both use the same view filters

BACKGROUND
- Using ClickUp Calendar for schedule work items
- Using Backlog with lists and filters
PAIN
- The Filters to the Backlog in the calendar cannot be saved (as they can in other areas in ClickUp)
- This means I have manually update and change filters constantly.
WORKAROUND
- No work around possible
- I have manually update and change filters constantly in the Backlog left sidebar
REQUEST
- Add ability to save filters for the Calendar Backlog sidebar.
- These should be shared from the saved filters function elsewhere in ClickUp

In calendar list view, apply filters to "my tasks from other lists"

In calendar list view, turning ON "my tasks from other lists" will render tasks assigned to you from other lists regardless of the filters applied to the view.
Change this behaviour so those tasks also get filtered through the views filters.
