Please prioritise this for development

If we have second level grouping in Workload and Timeline will be a GAME CHANGER! This is something we have in our old Project Management System - ftrack and it worked really really well!

We are absolutely loving clickup - but really need to be able to have tiered grouping options. 2-3 level would be enough, but we welcome all options.

Is this getting addressed soon?

In the project management field it is very difficult to get a holistic picture of multiple projects details if the list or table views do not allow for grouping by multiple levels. e.g. grouping by a specific task type such as project and then by other task types below that. In the current list and table views, It is very difficult to look at and not useful to have a grouping that only exists at one level. e.g. grouping by only task type shows all milestones across all projects in the same block and doesn't allow them to be seen in the context of their specific project and associated tasks. The same with tasks themselves. For a senior manager looking across a whole program of works, the group list is just a mash up of everything with no connected flow. The view may be useful for a single employee looking at their own short task list but being able to customise the groupings and their sub layers is critical to effective workflow when looking across tens or hundreds of unconnected projects and related tasks. Please prioritise this feature. AI is interesting to work on but agree there is a bit too much focus on that and is not the answer to help people with more fundamental features such as this that tools like ClickUp need to be competitive in the PM arena.

The combination of two key missing features makes it impossible to properly show a deeper project plan. Those features are 1) this and 2) ability to nest folders within folders.

This is essential to the Gantt view! Multiple teams need to see their tasks laid out by due date, by team

Love clickup, but the lack of all of these simple yet so important features makes me reconsider. How come is this not implemented, 5 years later?
