Yes! Being able to have the color match our client name custom field would be so much better for quickly differentiating items on the calendar.

Yes, this is necessary. The standard calendar has very poor color options. The calendar integration has bright colors like Google Calendar. We need that in Calendar view

Regarding Colors of Tasks in Calendar View:

What I really need, is to be able to have tasks in calendar view to be colored by 'Custom Field' itself - not based on value selection in them.

For example, we run a production shop and we use ClickUp to manage the project, including custom fields for ETA, Due Date, Production Date. Then we have the calendar view, that may show tasks multiple times in different calendar dates - for each custom field & entered date.

However, we wanna be able to quickly notice - as we see them in the calendar view - why they're in for at each date they are in.

In other words, where are they for their due date (e.g. Red), and where are they for their production date (e.g. Green).

Currently ClickUp only shows that in a text.

I come from other platforms where this was the default calendar option - and for good reason.
