Missing datestamp slash command /date

ClickUp appears to be missing the most basic of shortcut commands: a datestamp. I'd like to see a slash command for this. Something like /date which also includes the current time. In our industry, we have a continuous need to input the date and time to document certain events and interactions.

When creating launch plans or other documentation, we often include milestone dates directly within the doc (rather than as task due dates), since the purpose is informational.
In Confluence, I can type / to insert today’s date or select a date from a calendar, which speeds things up. In ClickUp Docs, I currently have to check dates in another app and enter them manually, which adds friction.
It would be great to have an inline date picker (defaulting to today), with support for regional formats (e.g. DD-MM-YYYY for Australia, MM-DD-YYYY for the US).

Any update on this one? Adding a date as plain text it very much needed.

I miss this option.
When you want to enter some text/comment/description... It's so useful to have the date nicely shown when you type eg /05/07 which gives you 05/07/2024 in calendar format...

This is a fundamentally important tool! Please add this function ASAP. Your competitors do this out of the box.

Agreed. I'm a new Clickup User and this would be helpful for document/notes use

This would be really helpful. The competitors have this option :-)
