🙏 Mindmap Top-Down Hierarchy View (for things like Sitemaps, Org Charts, etc.)
planned
Eric
It would be very useful to have a Top-Down Hierarchical view and organization for Mindmaps.
This would be huge for teams building hierarchical projects, like websites, apps, etc.
Here's a video of how this can look like: https://www.screencast.com/t/83j9feKH5z3

Perhaps allow for GitMind integration?
Completely free and has many templates and styles.

Some ideas to improve mindmaps:
- Enlarge 'artboard' - add extra space/margin around the mindmap. The way it is now, anything located at the bottom of the screen cannot be dragged/zoomed towards the center because it reaches the end of the artboard. So editing at the bottom can be a bit difficult when you're trying to align to grid. Not to mention, the preview thumbnail gets in the way.
- Option to snap to grid to keep things aligned.
- Option to lock the layering position of the grid and the mindmap, so the 'rulers' stay in place, even when you zoom or move things around.
- Angular lines would also be nice.

Awesome diagram - and feature request E

Please provide unlimited MindMaps in unlimited plan, a limit of 100 doesn't makes sense there and nobody would like to pay extra just for one extra feature.🙏

@Piyush Aswani: I think if you upgrade and use an affiliate coupon (15% off) - you can get an annual rate similar to your current unlimited plan rate (have to check)

Maybe it could also be used in swimming lanes from left to right. That way we could visually map processes using the same tool.

@Arnoud Post: I would love to be able to design processes / services BPMN style in ClickUp

Yes I was about to ask the same feature to be implemented and then I found this request. This is the only reason why I'm still hesitant to join Clickup. Is there an ETA for this feature?

@Brendan Wolfe: WOO! This is awesome news

@Dean Phillips: Yes it is!

@Brendan Wolfe: Awesome! Thank you! It would be great if Clickup could include a top-down/linear view of the status/stages. It would help groups that use 'Status' as project phases. This way, we have a linear, assembly-line view of a project's progress without scrolling as I do now using the board view, which is still very useful, but different. An assembly line view could live in the mind map view and possibly in the dashboard, see the screenshot:

And, orientation -- so you can grow it bottom-up, towards the left, etc.
