Can't find custom fields after the import via csv. At Step 3 of 3 (Custom Fields Mapping), it does not find any existing fields. We have a Progress (Manual) custom field and it does not show as an option, despite the fact that it is activated on the Space level.
Hey @Okan! It sounds like you might be trying to import a custom field that we don't support. This doc has full list of everything available! https://docs.clickup.com/en/articles/2118970-import-tasks-from-csv If that doesn't answer your question though then reach out to email@example.com and they will be able to help you out!
It appears to be working now! Not sure what changed, but this is very helpful
@Kirk Mullis: Awesome!
@Zeb any details on actually being able to import this data?
Can't even map the custom fields. They're not showing during import.
@Zeb - IF this is supposed to allow us to upload data to custom fields, this does not appear to be working. Se my previous post for more details
This is not working. I am able to Map the Fields but the data in the CSV is not actually being imported to the Custom Fields.
You can now import custom fields from a CSV! give it a try, check out our docs, and if you need any help feel free to reach out to our support team! https://docs.clickup.com/en/articles/2118970-import-tasks-from-csv
@Ivan Villa: amazing news!!
@Ivan Villa: This is great. One thing that is a major bummer though is that if I don't want my custom fields at the Workspace level, (they are at the folder level), I have no way of selecting these existing custom fields when I'm importing. So then I have to create a new custom field at the list level when doing the import, which is very counterproductive.
At the very least, when I click the dropdown when mapping, I should see all existing custom fields in my workspace, not just the ones that are made on the workspace level.
@Ivan Villa: Hi! - Great news - but the option for custom mapping isnt showing up for me
oops cleared my cache and now it works!
@Jake Spirek hmm interesting point, let me bring this issue to the devs, thanks!
@Calum Knott: haha awesome, I'm glad it was a quick fix!
@Jake Spirek: Hey Jake! we should have a fix for this in the next release =)
@Ivan Villa: awesome! thanks!!
@Jake Spirek: @Ivan Villa As far as I can see this not has been fixed yet, can you confirm please?
@Benjamin: Hey Benjamin! this should be working. if you are running into bugs let our help team know and they can help you out!
I'm excited to see that this feature is in progress. It is essential to improve the import and make ClickUp a world of possibilities like CRM.
@Zeb: Yeah! Excellent news
@Zeb: thx Zeb!
@Zeb: I know you probably hate this question, but any idea on when this will be released? I have a CSV with a long list of tasks with custom fields that I need to import but I will have to do it by hand if it's going to be a couple of months yet.
@Wyntre Stout: We think it will be done within ~2 weeks!
@Zeb: Awesome news!
@Zeb: currently crossing all digits
@Zeb: Any chance that could be today? :) I have just signed up and want to migrate from monday so have lots of custom fields!
@Calum Knott: It **looks** like we'll be shipping this Friday!
@Calum Knott: PS: Welcome to ClickUp!!
@Zeb: Amazing - Ill put the kettle on and wait until then !
we need this feature as soon as possible
