Can't even map the custom fields. They're not showing during import.
@Zeb - IF this is supposed to allow us to upload data to custom fields, this does not appear to be working. Se my previous post for more details
This is not working. I am able to Map the Fields but the data in the CSV is not actually being imported to the Custom Fields.
You can now import custom fields from a CSV! give it a try, check out our docs, and if you need any help feel free to reach out to our support team! https://docs.clickup.com/en/articles/2118970-import-tasks-from-csv
@Ivan Villa: amazing news!!
@Ivan Villa: This is great. One thing that is a major bummer though is that if I don't want my custom fields at the Workspace level, (they are at the folder level), I have no way of selecting these existing custom fields when I'm importing. So then I have to create a new custom field at the list level when doing the import, which is very counterproductive.
At the very least, when I click the dropdown when mapping, I should see all existing custom fields in my workspace, not just the ones that are made on the workspace level.
@Ivan Villa: Hi! - Great news - but the option for custom mapping isnt showing up for me
oops cleared my cache and now it works!
@Jake Spirek hmm interesting point, let me bring this issue to the devs, thanks!
@Calum Knott: haha awesome, I'm glad it was a quick fix!
@Jake Spirek: Hey Jake! we should have a fix for this in the next release =)
@Ivan Villa: awesome! thanks!!
I'm excited to see that this feature is in progress. It is essential to improve the import and make ClickUp a world of possibilities like CRM.
@Zeb: Yeah! Excellent news
@Zeb: thx Zeb!
@Zeb: I know you probably hate this question, but any idea on when this will be released? I have a CSV with a long list of tasks with custom fields that I need to import but I will have to do it by hand if it's going to be a couple of months yet.
@Wyntre Stout: We think it will be done within ~2 weeks!
@Zeb: Awesome news!
@Zeb: currently crossing all digits
@Zeb: Any chance that could be today? :) I have just signed up and want to migrate from monday so have lots of custom fields!
@Calum Knott: It **looks** like we'll be shipping this Friday!
@Calum Knott: PS: Welcome to ClickUp!!
@Zeb: Amazing - Ill put the kettle on and wait until then !
we need this feature as soon as possible
Do you have an estimate time for custom fields in import to be ready?
was thinking of moving out from Jira, without this feature it is just too much of work. cant wait to see it move from Planned to in Progess
Has anything new been said? I love clickup but this is keeping me from fully migrating as I do not want to spend hours manually inputting data that is already in a CSV.
@Isaac: We have this planned for our v2 of importing, right now best guess is September
@Zeb: love to have this feature
@Zeb: I cant find this feature in the V2. Can you tell me how to do it??
@Gustavo: We haven't released v2 importing yet - we'll update this thread as soon as we do!
@Zeb: was this included in the completion of Custom Fields v2?
@Kirk Mullis: Nope not yet, it's urgent for us though!
@Zeb: glad to hear it. lacking that feature is holding us back from better clickup integration
@Zeb: any news?
