Spreadsheet Import Mapping
Tim Zhang
If a custom field already exists and matches the import spreadsheet column, it should auto map fields in the import wizard, and you can manually configure it before confirming. right now it's all just blank and you have to configure one by one. huge time suck for large column sets.

Please assist me in understanding the following.
If I wish to import a list containing X custom fields, they cannot be matched with the existing ones.
If it's a brand-new project, you have the freedom to remove the existing ones and incorporate the new ones.
OR
Combine, which effectively means you need to upgrade.
Therefore, for a project that's well underway, where deletion is not feasible, upgrading is the solitary option.
If this is the case, it would be appropriate to change that ticket to under consideration: current status: dark pattern.
If this is not the case, I appreciate any enlightenment you can share.

Can't find custom fields after the import via csv. At Step 3 of 3 (Custom Fields Mapping), it does not find any existing fields. We have a Progress (Manual) custom field and it does not show as an option, despite the fact that it is activated on the Space level.

Hey Okan! It sounds like you might be trying to import a custom field that we don't support. This doc has full list of everything available! https://docs.clickup.com/en/articles/2118970-import-tasks-from-csv If that doesn't answer your question though then reach out to help@clickup.com and they will be able to help you out!

Zeb - IF this is supposed to allow us to upload data to custom fields, this does not appear to be working. Se my previous post for more details

This is not working. I am able to Map the Fields but the data in the CSV is not actually being imported to the Custom Fields.

Ivan Villa: This is great. One thing that is a major bummer though is that if I don't want my custom fields at the Workspace level, (they are at the folder level), I have no way of selecting these existing custom fields when I'm importing. So then I have to create a new custom field at the list level when doing the import, which is very counterproductive.
At the very least, when I click the dropdown when mapping, I should see all existing custom fields in my workspace, not just the ones that are made on the workspace level.

I'm excited to see that this feature is in progress. It is essential to improve the import and make ClickUp a world of possibilities like CRM.
