Why is this marked complete when it's not in place. I need to make priority mandatory as it's left blank a lot which prevents our dashboards from working properly

Please make standard fields requirable. I want to make priority required in a list. The workaround of creating a custom field priority isn't ideal as Priority flag works natively in so many ClickUp features.

This is kind of slightly related to this feature but is more about incorporating mandatory fields into the workflow.

Would it be possible to restrict a user from moving a task from one status to another status/closed/done unless they had filled out a mandatory field? The example case would be that my engineers work on tasks and set the status to Done or to Peer Review but we need the amount of time they've put into the task, especially for R&D purposes, but they do not always remember depending on how busy they are/how new they are to the software.

An actual restriction on moving the task into a set status if it has no value on Time Tracked would be ideal for this and would prevent people from closing tasks if the Admin/Owner required mandatory information that is important to note down at the time of task closure, not a month later. I understand Mandatory Custom Fields are in right now, but the Time Tracking built-in field is very very good for tracking total hours spent, and manhours recording is very important to me and there's no way to make a custom field for that without just being a number or a text area (which you can't use the calculate tool for).
