Make goals progress with subtasks
Sahar Carmel
Goals by now are tracking only the completion of task, but most of the work is done by subtasks.

Please give us this ability so we can track the progress of our goal more accurately with milestones. Otherwise, we can have 19/20 subtasks in a milestone done but show 0% progress.
Dorit Palvanov
I agree too! Otherwise the progress isn't accurate

Agree!

"Every milestone that is completed should move the measurement. If the measurement does not move, then it’s not an accurate measurement."
"If people can’t feel the progress, why bother tracking/reporting? If people don’t feel the pressure of the lack of progress, why bother tracking/reporting?"
Ken Forsythe
Really need this!
“You can’t manage what you can’t measure.” – Peter Drucker
Without measurement of subtasks, either goals are not useful or the hierarchy of tasks/subtasks is not useful.

Agreed. this is needed!

thanks to this, we can see the actual level of task completion, because we have e.g. completed some of the tasks from one task and some from the other, and GOAL shows 0% completion, which is not true. You need precision in this too, and that means taking into account subtasks

Ability to optionally take sub-task into measuring goal

As of now, if I am linking a task (in a list) to the goal, the completion of the sub-tasks does not show up any progress on the Goal.
The current workaround is to make all the subtasks into tasks, but that clutters my boards.
Taylor Dixon
Agreed, this is a needed improvement to the goals section.
