There is currently no built-in way in ClickUp to lock or disable the "Regenerate" button for the Email to List feature to prevent accidental regeneration of the email address. The regenerate function is always available to users with the appropriate permissions on the List or Task, and there is no setting to restrict or lock this action.
All members with access to the List or Task can view and regenerate the email address. We have seen two business-stopping issues because someone accidentally clicked it.
Alternatively simply put a center modal pop-up in warning them about what will happen and forcing them to say "yes I want to change the forwarding email".
