List updates in a notification group from oldest (top) to newest (bottom)

The current reverse order is so confusing. Or give individual users a way to change this just for themselves.

In the notifications, the posts are show in reverse order - older at the bottom. It'd be nice if the older ones are on top, that's the kind of timeline layout everyone is accustomed to.

I see a new message is sent to my inbox. When I click open the thread, the newest message is not first in the list, instead I have to scroll down to the middle of the list to find the newest message. Newest messages should always be first.
