Line/bar chart time x-axis future

I'd like to be able to view future tasks in a line or bar chart. At the moment, it only plots up until today, even though I have tasks scheduled for later in the year. Example screenshot provided below. I don't understand how this isn't a thing, how do people plan ahead?
This could also apply to other y-axis items like sprint points, which currently stops at today. How does this help plan ahead? At this point I'm only reacting day to day instead of shuffling my team members around to help spread the workload over the next 12 months.

Oh no, I didn't expect forecasting is not actually possible. Please please enable plotting information of future tasks on the dashboard time-based charts. Luci N. Joey

This is something we are looking for also! Can this be implemented as soon as possible. It is one of the main reasons we moved to Clickup

Completely agree, this a deal breaker for me. Clickup does offer a workaround, however it is completely unsuitable.

Elisa Young: Thank you so much for sharing! I think this should work as a temporary fix and we can use formulas instead of the dropdown. 🙇♀️

It's really strange it's not possible to plan ahead the only thing need it's to be able to select which date field we need in the axis in this case due date .

I agree, this would be really useful data to have, I'm quite surprised that this isn't built in, how do plan ahead using a widget at this moment?
