Let users switch authenticator apps

My employer requires us to use 2FA, which is great. However, I recently switched authenticator apps, and need to change my authentication method in ClickUp. Because of the requirement from my employer, I'm unable to disable and then re-enable 2FA. There should be another method for changing authenticators.
Support suggested I turn on SMS 2FA, but that would use my personal number, as I don't have a work-assigned device. I don't feel that's an appropriate solution.
There should be an easy method that lets me wipe out the authenticator private key and replace it with a new one.
