Latex support

Thank you for v2.
So many improvements to an already great app :)
I would like to request that you please consider adding latex (math typesetting) to docs (and comments?).
Maybe via https://www.mathjax.org/ or other (dropbox have a nice implementation as well in their new "Dropbox Paper").
Ideally, this could be a setting to be enabled per user so that text surrounded with '$' (or '$$' for an equation line) will be rendered by the math engine (i.e. mathjax).
Thank you!

oh dear. I'm studying electronics right now and while I've used ClickUp Docs for all my reference notes, I'm now overloading the pages with screenshots of PDFs to capture formulas and equations, and still I can't write basic subscripts in prose so everything is getting quite messy
Sounds like Notion does support this though?
Maybe I will need to migrate.
Oh dear...

Please, add math equation(maybe latex) support for documentations. It is a deal-breaker for engineering companies.

Agreed. This is one of the core missing features of ClickUp that Notion, Obsidian, and others have. And I urge you to implement it with KaTeX, not MathJax.

Rendered Mathematical Formulas in Documents

Dear ClickUp Team,
I am writing as an active user of the platform and a paying monthly subscriber. I rely on ClickUp as my central workspace for organization, studying, and project management, and a significant portion of my work involves technical documentation that includes mathematical formulas.
Currently, many of my documents contain mathematical expressions. However, since there is no built-in functionality to write formulas and have them properly rendered in mathematical format (for example, through a LaTeX-style rendering engine or similar), the experience is limited. Formulas must be written in plain text, which affects clarity, readability, and precision—especially for fractions, integrals, matrices, summations, or more complex expressions.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I hope you will consider adding this functionality in a future update.

This would be a game changer for data science teams or simply for the note taking functionality as a whole.

I’d really love to see proper LaTeX support in ClickUp Docs.
Right now we still have to keep a lot of our technical documentation (math-heavy specs, algorithms, research notes, etc.) in other tools just because we can’t write formulas cleanly in ClickUp. If Docs supported standard LaTeX syntax (inline and block) with proper rendering, we’d be able to move a lot more of our knowledge base into ClickUp and keep everything in one place.

Please it would be a game changer for engineering teams!! We now need to work with 2 different click-up like apps, however we could entirely move in to clickup if any math equation support was added

ClickUp devs please hear this one!

It's now a BIG headache for us. In 2025, with all the evolution, LaTex is everywhere in engineering and technology corps. It needs to be on ClickUp Docs too!

Ok, this is becoming a deal breaker. Looks like it's back to Notion.
