Journal (similar to notepad)
Mario Gonzalez
Similar to the notepad but a place to simply journal ideas or anything. While the existing notepad is uber cool each note needs to be titled and then written to, the journal would be more free flowing. What would make this different is that every entry will have a date and time stamp and be seen sort of like a timeline. The 3 main parts would be tags, time stamp and for it to be searchable.

Often I have something in mind I like to write down quickly and often I also only need it temporarily. I am always bothered that I have to name and save a new note, before i can start writing.
Notepad is useful and would be so much more powerful (for me), with these features:
1) Open an empty Note on every startup.
2) Auto save (as in docs and tasks)
3) Set date/time as automatic title, which is replaceable with custom title.
4) Display list with previous notes (current functionality) in the second half of the window.

I would love this too. Great suggestion.

I've been using Athens and now Obsidian for my daily notes but would prefer it to be in Clickup. That way I can also extract tasks from my journal if necessary.

I would love this actually - not sure if its too much to ask but if you could render ever note obsolete and have it all self contained I think that would be great.
I am thinking the ability to create separate notebooks would be a huge bonus as it helps compartmentalize different topics.

Hey there Mario! Great suggestion! We have heard some users use ClickUp for journaling before. They create a task dedicated to journaling and use comments as journal entries. You can also get nifty with recurring tasks so you will always be reminded to write something. :) I will leave this suggestion here, but thought you might be interested in hearing this.
