On intake forms, there should be an option to automatically grant an authenticated submitter access to the task created by the form. Normally, when a person manually creates a task (not through an intake form), they are automatically given permission to access that task.
Use Case:
The Marketing department has an intake form used by other teams to request web page updates. Only the Marketing department has access to the list associated with the intake form. When someone submits a request, an automation notifies them that it has been received and includes a link to the task. When the submitter clicks the link, they are prompted to request access to the task, and that request is sent to the task’s assignee or owner for approval.
I want to eliminate the need for the submitter to request access to the task. Ideally, the intake form would include an optional “Grant submitter default access” checkbox, followed by a dropdown list of permissions to define the default access level for tasks created through the form.
