Currently, task progress is calculated based on checklists, assigned comments, and subtasks. My request is for progress to also account for dependencies.

For example, if I have a task in List A and two tasks in List B, I would set the tasks in List B to block the task in List A. Upon completing the tasks in List B, the progress of the task in List A should be accounted for and advance.

I strongly believe this feature would greatly contribute to project/initiative management.
