Inbox doesn't show if multiple notifications on one task (please add a number!)

If a task had three notifications (e.g. a comment, a change of field, and a new task assigned), the 2.0 notifications page would unfurl all three grouped together. In the new Inbox, you just see the most recent notification for a task unless you click.
If it showed the NUMBER of notifications waiting, that would be helpful.
In the example image below, the inbox notification I saw was 'merely' a List change; I was going to just clear it without opening it. But the List change was only the most _recent_ notification; clicking I found the critical other notifications I would have missed otherwise.

Our organization needs this feature, too. This has impacted us most with #chat cards in dashboards. We have a dashboard set up for each client and the chat card within the dashboard is where we intend for all communication between the client and our team happens. We often have multiple threads of separate topics going at the same time in the same chat card. If a client responds to more than one thread in the chat card, we only see "1" next to inbox and inside the inbox it only shows the most recent message instead of each of them individually, so we don't even know to look for it. It would be best to have the number next to inbox represent the actual amount of unread messages and the list of messages include all unread, rather than laying it out in conversation mode.

I agree with Miriam Druyan's comment. In addition, previously (a) CU would unfurl all notifications from the same task in one; (b) we could also clear multiple notifications at once - this is no longer available and makes reviewing more time consuming. Please re-implement the deprecated functionality of the new Inbox feature

This is also a big issue for our team, as our team is new to clickup, and it it only shows the most recent notification on a project, they may miss the prior notifications. Sometimes, the first notification on our projects (task) is the most important one, and if they don't see that because of another notification firing, then that can cause problems for us.

We're working on this! Let us know if you rather have it show the total # of notifications inside each row, or just the total # of UNREAD notifications :)

Brendan W: Personally I'd want to see both as then I can see what proportion I've got through so far. Appreciate there might not be space for that though.
Kiva Reinbold
Brendan W: Unread is preferred.
Shahen Halebian
Brendan W Unread preferred
Gianandrea Poracin
Brendan W: I would have the unread # of important and other notification
Natalie Williams
Sophia K agreed, I want to see both read and unread.

Brendan W Would prefer to see both but if I had to choose it would be UNREAD.
