The old calendar was better, see all items due for that day then drag and drop them into the available slots at a glance your day is packed and planned. The planner, always empty i have to manually look for every task and assign it a time. On the left panel i have an overwhelming list of today and overdue which makes task detection even harder. My workflow is simple, go through my task list assigning dates (no time yet) then for each day now planning starts by dragging and dropping into the calendar.
