I group by tag frequently, but then still have to look at the individual tags cluttering up the end of each task name. Once you have grouped by tag, there is no need to see all the tags on each task.

Adding another vote for this please. Looks like it's been in the wish-list for 5 years. Doesn't appear to be something which should be that challenging to implement seeing that the toggle feature already exists for lots of other elements on that list view. Surely it's just a question so "If value = on, then..."?
Anyway, fingers crossed we can please get it added - thanks :-)

This is the main reason we have to revert to excel at times to visualize lots of data. Those tags especially when you have multiple on every item take up so much of a list view. Depending on screen sometimes 10-20% of the screen for a feature that is meant to help find and search, not necessarily analyze. Please fix this. The answer I got from ClickUp Brain was to use fewer or no tags. That's not a solution.

Agreed, tags for me don't need to be shown at all times, I only use them for filtering and automation purposes...
