Hide specified tasks from Gantt Charts

I have generally 3 types of projects 1) time oriented projects 2) non time oriented projects 3) time oriented projects that arent part of any project, just maintenance tasks that need to be done
So to make it easy, all I need it the ability to hide projects and also individual tasks from being seen and then being able to save that as a view for future use
so only the tasks and projects that are relevant are organized in the gantt chart

Ivan Villa: Hi, I am also looking for this. Is that feature already available?
Ivan Villa
Julian Wyszynski: Hey Julian! You can always use our filters option to filter out tasks based on anything.
one quick way of doing this is creating a tag called "hidden" filter out any task with that tag and just add them to the task you want filtered out.
if you have more specific needs I would reach out to customer support and they will be able to help you explore options to solve your use case :)

Hiding specified task/project would help improve the performance of the Gantt chart as well. It takes me 2 minutes currently just to load the view.

- Right now all the different type of tasks can be seen. So having an ability to toggle on and off projects, tasks, lists, would be great.
- Also, having the ability to save those views for future reference
- So once the non important tasks have been hidden the rest of the projects, tasks, etc are clumped closer together and can be manipulated in exactly the same way as now
