filter/hide parents.

Show parents as swimlane in boards

Sort on parents/subtasks

On option could be to have a trigger when a task changes from parant to subtask or the other way. Then I could use this to edit a custom field.

Another option would be to have an inbuild field for parent name. If empty its a parent. Then I could use this to filter etc
