Linked Tasks work well for our workflow because they carry across when a task is duplicated to a new board. However, Linked Tasks cannot currently be used for grouping, which creates duplicate admin work.
Use case:
We have an Active Clients List in our CRM. We use a Relationship field to associate tasks with a single client and group tasks by client. However, Relationship fields do not carry across when tasks are duplicated to new boards.
To work around this, we also use Linked Tasks because they carry across boards and allow us to see all related work against a client. The issue is that Linked Tasks cannot be grouped by, so we are forced to populate both the Client Relationship field (for grouping) and Linked Tasks (for cross-board continuity and visibility).
Summary:
Please allow tasks to be grouped by Linked Tasks, or allow Relationship fields to persist across duplicated tasks and boards. This would remove duplicate data entry, improve workflow efficiency, and reduce admin overhead.
