Group, Sort, and Filter by Relationship field in Views

Here's a sample use case:
I want to create a list of projects and group them by Client. The Client is a relationship to a task in a list called Clients.
For some reason, I do have the ability to group by some of the linked items, like assignee (in this case I called it "Client Owner").

Hey Everyone!
We've released some new features today. The team is working on documentation updates, but I wanted to share the details here first. 🙂
We added support for Custom Relationships in a few different areas:
- Bulk action toolbar:You're now able to bulk set custom relationships via the relationships option.
- Group by Custom Relationships:This is currently only on list view, but you can check it out and start grouping items by their custom relationships.
- Filter by Custom Relationships:This is available everywhere filtering is, you will now see your custom relationships as items you can filter by.
There is still a lot more we plan to work on. This will be the year of relationships for the team, so we hope to be back soon with some more updates!
Here is a 2-minute clip of me going through some of the features (apologies for the fan noise 😅)

Love the feature of group by relationship in list view but the feature does not work well on clickup mobile. You can see the grouping but it just says "empty" in place of where the relationship task should be. Joey, is this something that will be fixed in the near future?

Hi guys, any update here?? All these releases with fancy tools and yet this core feature remains outstanding? WHY?

Relationship fields are not groupable/filterable/bulk-editable

For God's sake guys. This is extremely important and easy to pull off. Please implement this because it messes with our whole workflow, otherwise we will have to switch to Airtable, which actually does it smoothly from day 1.

Max Weiten Ivan Villa Bringing this to your attention. Having the ability to group by relationship in board view would be really helpful. We use a whiteboard for user story mapping, but if we had this we could do it through relationships, which would make adding new tickets extremely easy.

Any update here Ivan Villa? Would love to see grouping by relationship added to board view, that'd help a lot.

Currently I am able to group my lists by custom fields but it would be great to be able to group based on relationships

Ivan Villa just realized that I can't group by relationship on folder level. I would expect this to work with filtering out the tasks that can't be grouped by this on the level.

Ivan Villa do you have a rough timeline to add this functionality to other views?
Ivan Villa
Lukas Moser Not right now, but we might have some updates soon. I'll be collaborating with other teams to see how we can support relationships across the different areas.
Is there a specific view you're more interested in?

Ivan Villa workload would be most beneficial for us
Joshua Borger
Ivan Villa Would love to see this added to boards view, but would be most beneficial if we had a way to manually order columns as well, not just alphabetically.
Lukas Moser
Ivan Villa pls also think about bulk removing relationships

Ivan Villa, Is this still on the radar to be able to group dashboard cards by relationships? Seems like an easy addition that makes relationships data visually reportable.
For instance, I have a list of invoices that have been mapped to subcontractor relationship. I want to create a dashboard that shows total invoices by subcontractor, but there is not a group-by for relationship fields option.
